Installing a monitoring device on multiple network links is often time consuming and expensive. Restricted by tight budgets, security managers must make compromises that leave portions of the network exposed to attacks. The Span Link Aggregator addresses this challenge by increasing the number of Span ports monitoring devices can be attached to. The small form-factor pluggable (SFP) monitor port connectors increase monitoring options by allowing either GigaBit copper or fiber transceivers to be used.
No Packets Left Behind The Link Aggregator scans incoming traffic from the network links on a first-in-first-out basis. Scan rate is optimized to ensure that no packets are dropped as long as the sum of data rates on the network ports does not exceed 1 GB. SFP Flexibility

The SFP Monitor Ports allow the Link Aggregator to be field upgraded or reconfigured for increased flexibility. The Link Aggregator with SFP Monitor Ports requires the purchase of one or two SFP conversion kits. Reliability For additional reliability, the Link Aggregator features redundant power supplies.
